Scoopim is a place to read, share and talk about what is happening: news, discussions and quick posts, gathered by topic in communities and open for everyone to read.
What you will find
- Communities. Every topic has a community with its own threads, rules and moderators. Browse all communities or start one of your own.
- Threads. Share a link or write a longer post, and start a discussion around it.
- Posts. Short notes, for the things that do not need a headline.
- Comments and votes. Reply, boost what is worth reading and keep your favourites.
- People. Follow people and communities to build a feed that is yours.
In your language
Scoopim speaks 22 languages, from the menus to the e-mails. Hebrew and English come first: the Hebrew home page shows what is written in Hebrew, and the English home page shows everything. Every language has its own address, for example scoopim.com/he/, so a link always opens in the language it was shared in.
Apps
Scoopim has apps for Android and iOS. A Scoopim link opens straight in the app when it is installed, and in your browser when it is not.
Free and open source
Scoopim is built on open-source software and publishes its own source code under the AGPL-3.0. Get the source code.
