These terms govern your use of the Scoopim website at scoopim.com and the Scoopim apps for Android and iOS (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Scoopim

You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 where the law of your country sets a higher age for online services. If you use Scoopim for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone, and do not sell or hand over your account.
If you think someone else is using your account, tell us at support@scoopim.com.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, Account, Delete account.

3. Your content

You keep the rights to what you post. By posting on Scoopim you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, reformat and distribute it through the Service (the website, the apps, feeds and link previews) for as long as it is on the Service. We use this licence only to run Scoopim.
Public content is visible to everyone, including visitors who are not signed in and search engines. Do not post what you do not want to be public.
Post only what you have the right to share. Quote and link to other people's work fairly, and give credit.
When you delete content, it stops being shown on the Service. Copies that other people already made cannot be recalled.

4. What is not allowed

Content that is illegal where you live or where we operate.
Threats, harassment, hate, or incitement to violence against people or groups.
Any sexual content involving minors. We remove it and report it to the authorities.
Publishing other people's private information without their consent.
Spam, scams, phishing, malware, fake accounts, vote manipulation and evading a ban.
Content that infringes someone else's copyright or privacy.
Adult content that is not marked as adult, or that is posted in a community that does not allow it.
Scraping, automated actions or other uses that harm the Service, or getting around its technical limits.

5. Communities and moderation

Each community is run by its moderators, who can set rules for their community, remove content and ban members from it. Site administrators can remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or the law, with or without notice. You can report content with the Report option; reports are reviewed by the community's moderators and by the site administrators.

6. Advertising

Scoopim may show ads, including from Google AdSense on the website and Google AdMob in the apps. Ads are separate from user content, and we never show ads inside direct messages. The privacy policy explains the data involved and your choices.

7. Open source

Scoopim's own software is free software published under the GNU AGPL-3.0. Its source code is available at /source. These terms apply to the Service we run, not to your rights under that licence.

8. Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service. We aim to keep it available, but we do not promise that it will always work without interruption or error.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". What users post is their own responsibility, and we do not endorse it. To the extent the law allows, Scoopim and the people who run it are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content posted by users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, or liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you on the Service or by e-mail about significant changes. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
