Eight eMudhra certificate authority keys compromised; browsers block them

The Hacker News reports that private keys for eight intermediate certificate authorities run by eMudhra were compromised. Chrome and Firefox distrusted the affected certificates within hours, and Go, NSS and other projects have shipped patches.
